Uninstallation - willewen - 08-18-2008 12:12 PM Hi there, i was wondering what process the uninstaller follows to remove ispCP. This is because i seem to have corrupted my installation and would like to manually uninstall to allow a fresh install of RC6. Thanks, Will Ewen RE: Uninstallation - aseques - 08-19-2008 07:35 PM Then you'd have to delete the vuxxxx users and everything under /var/www and /var/mail/virtual/ But if you have the chance to do a full reinstall of the system it will be better, so no trace of mistaken configurations remain. UPDATE: removing the packages from ./docs/Debian/debian-packages-etch, might be certainly dangerous (haven't seen that there was bash and ssh) so unless you know what are the real important ones to keep, your best chance would to reinstall the whole system. RE: Uninstallation - RatS - 08-19-2008 10:56 PM DO NOT USE Code: apt-get remove --purge $(cat ./docs/Debian/debian-packages-etch) you will damage your system... |
