I did upgrade my productive server, some test machine (but only from RC5 or RC6 to RC7) without problems. Also i found on the google that somebody else did that too successfully. http://marcel-adamczyk.de/?p=30 . Please share with us your experience.
Also please follow step by step instructions for upgrade or else update will fail.
Also don`t forget to DO BACKUPS Wink

Well I did not upgrade Nightly->Nightly Script Smile I was talking about ispcp/engine/setup/ispcp-update Wink. This is the official way to migrate from RC->RC or nightly->RC

I also did two installs of rc6 on a virtual machine and updated them to rc7 they worked fine.

A few minutes ago i just finished updated my server (using rc5) to rc7 and there were no problems.

It looks like this is the first stable release of ispcp. Great job sci2tech and the rest of the dev team Big Grin.

Actually there is one bug Sad. On "http://admin.domain.tld/client/sql_manage.php" when trying to click on "phpMyAdmin" it opens a new window but it says "Cannot log in to the MySQL server". If i try to login manually it works :-?.

It seems it's not from ispcp update, i've probably done something wrong because it works fine on the virtual machine... could be from config.inc.php

I had this problem too. I found out that the SQL password is now stored encrypted. I do not know since when this is the case and if the update script takes care of this. Try changing the password, after that it should work.

How can we download RC7? I tried the RC to RC upgrade instructions and the only build to download is still RC6.

@Cube: changing the password did the trick. thanx!
PS: isn't there a simple and automatic way to encrypt the passwords? i have 20-25 databases and 10 or so are being used by some clients :-S.
@lschafroth: try downloading it from svn "svn co http://isp-control.net/ispcp_svn/trunk/ ispcp" and use the steps from here (go to "5) Update")
