bugreport ('cause trac complains "Submission rejected as potential spam") - Haeber - 10-08-2008 08:39 PM

Misleading error message if strong passwords are used.

If you use strong passwords, the error message to set a new password misleads the user: If you want to change to a password that is not strong enough, it only says "Password data is shorter than 6 signs or includes not permitted signs!", but it does not complain about a to light password.

Best Regards
Haeber

We need to change the message if stong password is enabled for mail/ftp/user

I did this via updating translation messages for this error, but a more intuitive solution for the user would be a good upgrade.

Anyone for this one?

right, the message is not meaningful enough for the customers.
