Abaility to open a ticket for a specific user - lschafroth - 11-19-2008 02:10 PM

The Reseller needs to be able to open a trouble ticket and assign it to a particular user. This allows two way communication.

Write it on the Wishlist or open a Ticket about it.
Thanks!

Reseller can switch to user interface and open a ticket if need. But why one reseller will open a ticket addressed to himself?

I dont think we need that amount of features for the ticket system. We have a very basic and easy ticket system, thats enough for most stuff you want to do with. If you need more, you can integrate orts for example. Im sure thats possible Tongue You just have to find out how.

Actually the features we are asking for, would make it a basic ticket system.

Did you read my post? What you want is redundant (it is possible for a reseller to open a ticket as one of his clients) and I do not see any benefit having this redundant feature. Why a reseller write a ticket as a user that is supposed to addressed to himself? Please provide more reason why we should consider this feature.

and in addition to sci2tech's post: A user never needs to contact an Administrator directly.

The reseller shoudl always have the ability to initiate a ticket for a given user.

If there is going to be maintenance, if there is going to be testing. Any upgrades and etc. The reseller should not have to switch to that user, create a ticket so they could then respond back.

It is a very basic function.
