CentOS Installation Documentation - qisback - 01-09-2009 02:30 PM Just a quick one to let you know that I have created a CentOS installation guide. http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/start/installation/centos This borrows it's format and basic information from the Debian documentation. I have followed the documentation through and it seems to install fine using it. I also intend to try keep it updated as much as possible. -={Q}=- RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - sci2tech - 01-09-2009 06:59 PM Please see INSTALL file for Centos. You miss some steps that are critical! Anyway thank you for initiative. RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - qisback - 01-10-2009 03:18 AM you know what that is extremly naughty of me, not to have double checked with the INSTALL file. I guess I've just become so used to poor documentation I just jumped in at the deep end. Will make a point of updating the wiki within the near future, although if you want you could always just roll back to the previous version. -={Q}=- I've just updated the wiki including most the information from the INSTALL documentation. Although personally I don't find it all relavent to setup ispCP. I will run though the wiki doc step by step later to make sure it's easy to follow and the instructions are correct. -={Q}=- RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - gOOvER - 01-10-2009 04:36 AM I'm not using CentOS, so i don't know very much about it. When i add the installationguide to the Wiki, i only use c&p ![]() ![]() RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - ceco91 - 01-17-2009 07:12 PM I can help in writing the guide. RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - ensit - 01-27-2009 06:16 PM Here need an important thing to copy the #/etc/services file to /var/spool/postfix/etc/services RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - ceco91 - 01-30-2009 06:34 PM Yes it is very important step or you postfix won't send an email ! RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - gOOvER - 02-03-2009 06:32 PM Everybody can change the Wiki after registration. ![]() ![]() RE: CentOS Installation Documentation - rbtux - 02-03-2009 06:53 PM copy /etc/resolv.conf is also important, or your postfix won't receive e-mails (because reject_unknown_sender etc... don't work...) |
