[SOLVED]Email forwarding not working? - robmorin - 01-23-2009 05:32 AM

Hello all...

I am trying to forward an email, but its not working, mail still gets delivered to the mailbox rather than forward to other mail addresses....

I tried to delete and re-create the email address but it still does not work..

I am using ispCP 1.0.0 RC6 OMEGA build: 20080806 Priamos

In the aliases file in /etc/postfix/ispcp, i see the entry in there for the email
oscar:/etc/postfix/ispcp# grep weather *
aliases:weather@some_domain.org rob@another_domain.org,joanne@another_domain,john@another_domain,paula@another_domain.org,Margossian@another_domaincom
Binary file aliases.db matches
mailboxes:weather@some_domain.org some_domain.org/weather/
Binary file mailboxes.db matches

Any ideas?

Thanks...

It`s a bug in RC6. You have 2 options:
1. Upgrade to RC7 (and I suggest you to use last nightly version).
2. Use diff and merge modifications (check forum to see witch are modifications needed).

I applied the patch as follows, but still have the same issue even after deleting the email and re-creating it....

patch /var/www/ispcp/engine/ispcp-mbox-mngr <thepatchfile.txt

Thanks...
