Account Restrictions Email - zer0 - 01-24-2009 11:11 AM

Hi,
Is it possible to put restrictions on mail accounts? What i'm looking for is, I want some accounts to be only able to send emails within the domain and not outside the domain, where other accounts will be able to send emails inside and out.
for example if my domain is TEST, and i dont want a1@test.com to send emails outside of the domains, but only be able to send/receive emails from @test.com, where another acount (b1@test.com) will be allowed to send emails within the domain and out.

can anyone help me please?

Thank you

You should be able to configure like this by editing the postfix configuration.

Take a look at: http://www.postfix.org/RESTRICTION_CLASS_README.html. Specifically at the "Restricting what users can send mail to off-site destinations".

I haven't done this personally, so I won't try to give you specific configuration examples to get the job done. Smile
