rc5->rc7 SQL Update failed. and no password failure - supaplex - 01-28-2009 04:51 PM

I'm upgrading from rc5, and there are no apparent changes in the CSV INSTAL file for docs/Debian for the Update section.

Everything seems to run okay until:

11. Start the engine update:
# perl ispcp-update

I used:
(6) ispCP OMEGA 1.0.0 RC5

SQL Update failed.

Any suggestions? Stock Debian etch box with all updates.

There are! And all critical. You just missed one of those steps Smile. Restore from backup and try again

this problem is no more. I will post my "plan" in a new thread with an attachment of the shell scripts I developed to ensure each step went smoothly. We rolled back due to some unforeseen complications. (more on that later)
