upgrade preparation for rc7 - supaplex - 02-13-2009 04:30 PM

We had to restore from backups, not just the backups we made prior to the script upgrade, but the previous daily backups. It wasn't clear what impact was going to take place until disaster was in our midst....

The upgrade seemed to complete, but we had to test a lot of things to make sure it was working after the revert. We'd like to move to rc7 again if at all possible, but I want to ensure we can fall back to rc5 if we cannot make headway and rely on rc7.

DNS:

How do I change the locations zone files and bind configuration is being made at? I'd like to setup a staging directory for these changes to be written to and compare zone files in question.

Thanks for any suggestions.

seems that editing /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf works fine. I was able to retune the template to our setup so new files are created better.
