[SOLVED] can't go on ispcp admin page... - thibotus01 - 02-27-2009 05:15 AM

Hi,

After the install, looks all good, but when I type : http://rxxx.ovh.net (it's my domain server) I have a 404 error.

during the install my FQDN is "rxxx.ovh.net" and it also the same for the url access to the admin page of ispcp.
Beacause I can't I have a url like : admin.rxxx.ovh.net : I d'ont have any right to the domain ovh.net which is my host where I have my server.

It's kind of ambigous, How I suppose to do?

Thank you...

all services are running? (Apache2)
You can use the access via the ip ??

RE: can't go on ispcp admin page... - thibotus01 - 02-27-2009 06:53 AM

I got a 404 error, so Apache2 is running.
via IP is the same error.

Check /etc/hosts. If something is wrong here apache will only bind to localhost. Distro?

RE: can't go on ispcp admin page... - thibotus01 - 02-27-2009 07:12 AM

127.0.0.1 rxxx.ovh.net.local localhost
94.23.38.99 rxxx2.ovh.net rxxx
::ffff:94.23.38.99 rxxx.ovh.net rxxx
::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts

94.23.38.99 : this is not the IP of my server.
What's the hell? It's an ISPCP admin page.

I'm on Debian lenny

Well you and only you can tell what ip did you enter when you installed ispcp Smile

RE: can't go on ispcp admin page... - thibotus01 - 02-27-2009 07:42 AM

Okay... Actually I did it too fast, and I didn't check the ip it gave me by default, cause the previously step (FQDN) whas correct, so...

Well, I have restarted the install, all works done.

Thank you for the fast support Smile

RE: [SOLVED] can't go on ispcp admin page... - petepe1 - 11-27-2010 01:00 AM

Hi
I have the same error but i gave my actual ip. Big Grin
Apache: "The requested URL / was not found on this server."
I installed ispcp on Ubuntu to ispcp.domain.tld subdomain.
In log files I found only "[Fri Nov 26 15:30:46 2010] [warn] FastCGI: server "/var/www/fcgi/master/php5-fcgi-starter" (uid 2000, gid 2000) started (pid 972)" I think this may not be trouble.
I've checked my /etc/host too.
What could be the problem?

SOLVED!
I forgot to say that I have a router Big Grin

"To run ispCP NAT'd you need to tweak the apache templates and config
files.
/etc/apache2/sites-available/00_master.conf
/etc/ispcp/apache/00_master.conf
/etc/ispcp/apache/parts/als_entry.tpl
/etc/ispcp/apache/parts/dmn_entry.tpl
/etc/ispcp/apache/parts/sub_entry.tpl
/etc/ispcp/apache/parts/vh_entry.tpl

I usually comment out any line with {something_IP}:80 and replace it
with *:80
For example /etc/apache2/sites-available/00_master.conf would look like
this.
# <VirtualHost ip.add.re.ss:80>
<VirtualHost *:80>

That's how I got around my NAT'd network. I don't know what kind of
impact it'll have once you want to grant sites other IP addresses but I
know it works with one address just fine."
