Change mail user password in webmail front-end - bkcyberfreak - 03-09-2009 09:39 PM

It would be a nice feature to have the ability to change the mail user password in the webmail front-end by the mail user itself, so that it is not neccessary to give access to the domain control panel, just to change the mail password or that not the domain admin has to change the mail passwords of its mail users every time.

This just is my suggestion, what do you think, might it be possible to implement this neat feature?!

Oh yes, I see, thank you for this incredible fast help and the good advice. Didn't realize, that it is a standard front-end instead of an individual development, wherefor there already are standard solutions for it, of couse.

Found something good in Documentation area here, but which has to be updated. It's just for ISP-CP below RC7...

Decided to perform a change to Roundup then, like it's shown in Documentation area here.

Just for anybody who has got the same question...

Anyway many thanks again for your quick help rbtux.

I made another change_sqlpass version working with encryption:

It uses some simplified querys (the initial version was released when mail_addr field did not exist, so it had to to some tricky joins). Check it out if you want Smile
