Add IP? What does it do! - Gymnogyp - 03-15-2009 08:13 AM

When I add an IP to the Manage IP's area, doe that add the IP to the servers config!

In other words, do I need to add the IP to the in the OS and ISPCP, or does ISPCP add it to the OS for me?

If I add the IP in ISPCP, can the server now use that IP?

I hope you understand my question.

you have to add the ip to the servers network configuration in order to use it...

Then why do I need to add it to the Manage IP's list? What is it used for?

So that you can assign to a reseller or a customer... You may not want to have all configured IPs available in ISPCP...
