Trouble with ProFTP and awstats passwords - sansomnator - 03-17-2009 05:18 PM Hello, I have searched the forums quiet a bit and can't seem to find my resolution. When I try to connect via FTP to the server (I use FileZilla), I get the message: Code: Status: Connection established, waiting for welcome message...I checked the proftpd.conf file and everything seems to be in order. All the values are set correctly and in the modules.conf the proper modules are loaded too. I have been using RC6 and I like the stable release except I'm having difficulty figuring awstats passwords too (where/how to set or is it based off the customers login?). It is very late when I post so I may have left out some information. Feel free to ask me to post anything and I will be more than glad. P.S. Like the new updates! RE: Trouble with ProFTP and awstats passwords - sansomnator - 03-21-2009 06:07 AM Well, my initial problem was fixed because I just decided to redo everything. But now I have a simple problem I can't seem to figure out the source of. When I change the password in the accounts, the current password won't log the users into their awstats. It still uses the password the account was created with. Is there a command I can insert somewhere to fix that? RE: Trouble with ProFTP and awstats passwords - kurgans - 03-22-2009 03:10 AM You can change the password in System Tools option Protected Areas. It is a bug that was fixed in a more current trunk RE: Trouble with ProFTP and awstats passwords - sansomnator - 03-23-2009 04:35 AM Oh thanks for the information. I will do that and probably update :-) Thanks for your help |
