[SOLVED] Got problems with Proftp after upgrade - peman - 04-03-2009 04:15 PM

Hello

I upgraded from RC5 to latest. Everything seems to work fine except Proftp, it wont start.
I get this message:

Starting ftp server: proftpd - error: cannot read configuration path '/etc/proftpd/ispcp'
- Fatal: Include: error including '/etc/proftpd/ispcp/*': Invalid argument on line 213 of '/etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf'
failed!

And on the line of 213:
Include /etc/proftpd/ispcp/*

the folder iscp isnt there under /etc/proftpd.

What should i do?

Under the upgrade it looked like this:

Have also problems with domain alias. in the web GUI under status, it says "unknown error".

and it doesnt seem that i am able to add new alias. it just says that the domain already exists.

Create it. Maybe this is also the Problem for the Domain Alias.

hello and thank you for the reply!

but what is supposed to be under /etc/proftpd/ispcp/ ? i copied the content which ispCP took backup on, a file called: root_domain.conf and the FTP starts so it seems to work.

But i still have problems with domain aliases, i cant delete nor add new ones.

I noticed a lot of errors in ispCP debugger and clicked on the link to change them and now everything works!

Thank you very much!
