fcgid or fastcgi? (perl ./ispcp-setup) - kwutzke - 04-09-2009 02:36 AM

Everything seems to have gone right installing ispCP on a relatively low resource level vserver.

I just can't see, even after googling, what to choose between

FastCGI Version: [f]cgid or fast[c]gi. [fcgid]:

...

Taking under consideration

http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/howto/miscellaneous/run_ispcp_on_a_low_resources_system

my emotional choice would be to go for FastCGI, but fcgid is the default.

What do I choose for a low resources system? 250 MB RAM guaranteed, 512 MB max., 20 GB HD...

it doesn't realy matter, just take one.

You can easily change it after the installation again.

So just figure out what's working best for you.
