Hi there,
I've just changed some servers, NS, IP, the whole thing.
But my domain still directs me to the wrong server (IP).
I've changed the NS adress for the domain and everything, so I guess the DNS is cashed (it still shows the old IP when I ping from my computer).
So, basicly, is there a way to make the domain propagate faster through the DNS servers? Otherwise I might wait at least a couple of hours

I use GoDaddy for my domain registration. When I update my NS IP's it says it could take up to 48 hours to take effect. It hasn't ever taken that long, but it could. Remember, this information has to be updated worldwide lol..

Yes I know .. "worldwide" .. but I was thinking maybe there is a way to do this faster .. I mean for my self.
ipconfig /flushdns doesn't work because it's cashed with my ISP I guess.
So, is there a way to flush THEIR cash ?
Or maybe change DNS server for my connection ? If so, how do I do that in Vista ?

Well as you said that depends on the configuration an ISP has. In my case it is enough just to do ipconfig -flushdns and to restart Firefox.
But I have seen so stupid ISP DNS Cahing options that I wanted to kill myself. One of local ISPs clears it's cache every 30 days. Dammit that's dumb

You can try using 'Ctrl + F5' to force the refresh of a web page.

With Ctrl-F5 I'm landing on my 5th desktop...
Are you using Internet Explorer? well well -
also Ctrl-R should work (as it works in FF and other browsers)...
