SSL for Clients - TXC - 05-15-2009 07:20 PM Is it possible to add SSL support for Clients? To manage this through ispCP or do i need to "hack" apache's ispcp.conf ? RE: SSL for Clients - sci2tech - 05-16-2009 12:32 AM It will be possible in a future version. Until then you need to manually enable ssl. Also you need different ip for each client that has ssl enabled. RE: SSL for Clients - TXC - 05-16-2009 12:53 AM (05-16-2009 12:32 AM)sci2tech Wrote: It will be possible in a future version. Browsers that have been confirmed to support SNI are: Opera 8.0+ Firefox 2+ Internet Explorer 7+ No Safari (do not know about Chrome). What you think? Can we live with that? RE: SSL for Clients - Jillian - 05-18-2009 04:17 PM I think it's good to have, someone must begin to use it widely. RE: SSL for Clients - rbtux - 05-18-2009 07:45 PM I wouldn't go for SNI, because there are many third party applications that use SOAP/RPC interfaces etc... of a apache hosted project. Almost every application using this interfaces is not SNI compatible... Whats the problem with ips? You're isps right? Than this should not matter... Just request new space when the old is filled up... where is the problem? |
