webmin and ispcp omega - robbo007 - 05-25-2009 05:01 PM

Hello All,

Can I install webmin and ISPCP Omega? I've just built a test machine to work out how it all works and now moved on to my live machine. I forgot to test if webmin causes any problems.

Do I need to install in any order? First webmin then ISPCP OMEGA?

Thanks,

Rob

Hi,

I always installed all the server completely and finally webmin to ensure proper functioning and configuration of all modules.

ok thanks,

But there are no conflicts right?

Changes with webmin are more or less equally with manual changes - if you don't take care, some changes will be overwritten by ispcp again.
But it should be safe if you only use the modules of webmin which are not covered by ispcp (no postfix, no courier, no apache, no mysql, no bind - etc...)

i'm also using webmin and it works great as long as you don't screw up ispcp's configs Big Grin

I have webmin running too.
Just don't modify mysql, apache, ftp, mail and other services Big Grin
