Email only - bailey86 - 06-10-2009 02:30 AM Hi, I'm new to ISPCP so sorry for any obvious stuff. How would I configure ISCP to only run email? If I set up to not do FTP etc I still get the user screen where they can try to run the file manager etc. What is the neatest solution if the users are only going to have email accounts and no FTP space at all. Thanks, Kevin Bailey RE: Email only - BeNe - 06-10-2009 03:25 AM Set everything to "-1" as Reseller/Admin Quote:If I set up to not do FTP etc I still get the user screen where they can try to run the file manager etThis is only a link to the WebTools. They are not need for the ispCP Core and you can delte it, if needed. Greez BeNe RE: Email only - bailey86 - 06-10-2009 04:33 PM I've set everything to -1 for the FTP settings. Of course, I can just start deleting code to the related options - but this may be overwritten during an upgrade. Does this mean that it's not easy to set up ISPCP to cleanly handle the situation whereby the server is only running email? RE: Email only - BeNe - 06-12-2009 01:49 AM So what is _exactly_ the Problem ? Can the user create an FTP Account now ? Or anything other than e-Mail ? Greez BeNe RE: Email only - bailey86 - 06-12-2009 11:57 PM Looks like they can still create an FTP account when in fact we only want to host email on that server. |
