Turning Off Email - corra - 07-24-2009 02:35 PM

I have an active ispcp install and I was wondering if there would be any side effects in disabling courier and postfix. I use an external server to manage my clients email needs and don't have email enabled on any of their hosting accounts.

Somewhere in the forum:

disabling Courier: no problem, since no mailboxes.
disabling Postfix: if your websites don't send mails and you don't want any status mails from the system etc....
