Is their a way to reverse the update message in the admin panel when you login???

RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.2 - Zothos - 08-21-2009 02:33 AM

why do you reverse the message? Do you mean the db update? Then you need your db backups which are made by you before the update was performed.

The panel was showing that the update to ispcp was available. Which this thread indicates has been removed. But the panel still shows that an update for ispcp is available.

So I updated the webmail with ispcp-squirrelmail-1.4.20rc1.tar.gz. The panel still shows that an update is available. So how do I get rid of that message...

Disable it in the Adminsection under Settings. ;D

That defeats the purpose of the update feature.

I was hoping for an answer along the lines of clear the database of something or maybe modifying where the panel gets the info for the updates. Or maybe clear the update from the location that the panel looks at for the update (like maybe your rss feed for updates or something).

Also after disabling the update feature, it always shows "Update checking is disabled!"

Change in the ispcp.conf the Version. Wink

That's the point:
http://www.isp-control.net/latest.txt

RE: ispCP Omega 1.0.2 - wuhaa - 08-21-2009 07:08 AM

So my guess is that if I change "BuildDate" to whats at http://www.isp-control.net/latest.txt, the update message should go away?

Do I have to run anything to update the panel to the new configuration (service ispcp_daemon restart)?
Also do I need to change "Version" from "1.0.0 OMEGA" to "1.0.2 OMEGA"?
