Safe to aptitude upgrade with ISPCP Debian. - robbo007 - 09-04-2009 05:07 PM Hello all, Is it generally safe to do a aptitude upgrade on a Debian system running ISPCP? Or will the new versions of the packages break ISPCP? Code: # aptitude upgrade Thanks, Rob RE: Safe to aptitude upgrade with ISPCP Debian. - BeNe - 09-04-2009 05:22 PM I always update my Debian Lenny Server via apt-get/aptitude without any Problem. But please let apt-get/aptitude not change the config if there is a question about it. The aptitude frontend of dpkg is very good to manage the dependencies.
