users and the group exists

what's in the suexec.log? or other logs in the same time?

Hm.

And the "bad user name" you get when starting apache?

find all places where vu2079 appears in th apache2 config, diesable the vhosts temporarly (just to make sure you got the right place) and then at least you know where to have a closer look.
