what is the config files for, and how to change? - ender049 - 10-30-2009 05:04 PM excuse me. my english is not very well. and I have had a look at the docs. just not very clearly. there is so many config files . which is for what? and after edit it ,how to take effect? for example: in /etc/ispcp/ there is so many config files. which one is for what? there are parts and working folder. I know that the parts folder is the template files, when add new site will be used. and the working folder for what? and the /etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf file, after change it ,what should next step to do for taking effect? sorry for this newbie question. but I think it is better having a page to tell every body that after installation, every file of ispcp is for what and how it work. RE: what is the config files for, and how to change? - ender049 - 10-31-2009 05:00 AM no body? and /etc/ispcp/apache/working/fcgid_ispcp.conf for what? how it work? if I want to change the fcgid_ispcp.conf what should I do ? just edit the /etc/apache2/mod-enable/fcgid_ispcp.conf ? and what's about /etc/ispcp/postfix/main.cf ? If I want to modified the main.cf of postfix. there is no problem just modified the /etc/postfix/main.cf? I ask this question just because I don't understand what ispcp will do. because some config files will be recovered by ispcp with the config files in the parts or working fodlder after you change it. I just want to know which one will be recover and which one will not be. |
