Instalation Fail - Yorick Arens - 11-07-2009 09:38 PM I want to install ispcp on ubuntu in use the guide on the site he is old but the most is working. When i run perl /ispcp.... and I fill it in he begins with the installation. When he want to configure proftpd he says config file in /etc/ispcp/proftpd(can be different) does not exist. How can I solve this problem. System Ubuntu(9.10),ispcp-1.0.2 RE: Instalation Fail - joximu - 11-07-2009 10:44 PM before starting the ispcp-setup you need to copy the files manually: /etc/proftpd/proftpd.conf and /etc/proftpd/ispcp/root_domain.conf Source: either /tmp/etc/... or from the original tarball: configs/ubuntu/proftpd/ (I think tha proftpd1.3.intrepid.conf is the right). This is boring: every half a year we have to change the Makefiles... :-( RE: Instalation Fail - Yorick Arens - 11-08-2009 01:42 AM Yes he is working now. May I correct the installation guide... for Ubuntu 9.10 RE: Instalation Fail - joximu - 11-08-2009 04:54 AM Of course! Thank you in advance! /J RE: Instalation Fail - Yorick Arens - 11-08-2009 05:22 AM For so far he is installed but my ftp don't want to login. Error filezilla: Status: Verbindingspoging mislukt met "ECONNREFUSED - Connection refused by server". Fout: Kan niet verbinden met server Sorry it is Dutch ![]() When I try to start the proftpd server the error is: * Starting ftp server proftpd - processing configuration directory '/etc/proftpd/ispcp' - mod_dso/0.4: module 'mod_ctrls_admin.c' already loaded - Fatal: LoadModule: error loading module 'mod_ctrls_admin.c': Operation not permitted on line 15 of '/etc/proftpd/modules.conf' ...fail! How to solve this I just have followed the guide http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/doku.php?id=solving_proftpd_issues Yorick RE: Instalation Fail - joximu - 11-08-2009 06:40 PM how does the modules.conf look like? But I think there's something more behind.... /J RE: Instalation Fail - Yorick Arens - 11-11-2009 04:24 AM I have found the answer already. I had to install two extra packages. Ik think that this 2 files are not between the list with software. The files are: proftpd-mod-mysql and proftpd-mod-ldap. Without this two the ftp server won't start Yorick |
