Hi... i follow the steps to migrate from courier to dovecot... but i hav accounts whitout the courierimapuiddb and this not generate dovecot-uidbd for this accounts.. now only few accounts had yours emails recognized... how i can solve it??

i hav another BIG problem....before doing the migration I was already with the emails without receiving ... I thought it was the courier problem .. I made the migration to dovecote because I thought it would solve my problem. but not solved .. ALL e-mail accounts do not receive mail because it says that the disk quota is full .. But no account has a limit and the message is hard even for those who do not have any email.

anyone have an ideia how i can fix this??

If dovecot says there is a quota, then you have configured dovecot with quota.
So you have to post your config of dovecot.
More information are very nice now!

In the table mail_users there's a field called quota, if you set that to 0, the you'll have unlimited quota for that user.
You could also set debug to yes, dovecot logs are really helpful and self-explanatory.
auth_debug=yes
auth_debug_passwords=yes.

hi, i return to courier now... but the problem persists.. i thing it's not a problem on courier/dovecot but on postfix or on O.S. =//

i'am sure thats no quota restriction to all accounts and on de the server too..

should be a problem whith disk writing.. the postfix is noting generating logs files..
now the logs are working.... please see whats is in..

I think you have to read some threads in another forum:

Maybe you disk is going bad...
You have to read the syslog for errors

Check also the file rights through the maildirs.
