Allow regular linux user to access website directory - cmendes0101 - 12-08-2009 04:59 AM

How can I allow a linux user to be able to access the web directory of a domain? I need a user to run a script to access a few file in the web directory of a domain. Any suggestions? I keep getting an access denied at the moment

Easiest way is to find the group set for that website and add the user to that group.

You can not give shell access to the user of the website and assign as home directory of the website? It is unsafe?

gives problems ?, change the settings the user who creates the panel? assigned home and shell access ?

Thank you
