Multi IP - Do not listen - clearminds - 01-03-2010 11:29 AM

Hello,
I am trying to put up a system with two IPs, when I add the other IP in the admin interface, I get the following in ifconfig.

eth0:3 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr fe:fd:61:6b:8c:6a
inet addr:69.xxx.xxx.xxx Bcast:69.255.255.255 Mask:255.0.0.0
UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST MTU:1500 Metric:1

It also don't add any default route for outgoing traffic on that IP.

Anyone got any solution to this?

Best Regards
Daniel

That's correct, unless you need a different gateway for different IPs. It's an IP Alias for the adapter.
