random apache/ ssh crash - johnnyrevell - 01-18-2010 08:59 PM

Hi,

I'm using 1.0.3 on Debian Lenny- set up as per instructions on this site + mailman. I also have a low use asterisk 1.4 running on the server.

Approx once a week I lose ssh and webs services, and I can not reach my asterisk service. However, I can ping the server OK

I don't have local access to the console; can anyone give me some tips on debugging this?

Thanks

John

Once a week... sounds like there's some weekly task that obliterates the server. Try to discover which task it is, by taking snapshots of the running processes, installing some monitoring program (a la collectd or cacti), etc...
