i've just installed 1.0.3 version. (everything default)
i've hosted 5 website and my server is dead..
can someone help how to speed up apache? it needs 6-10 sec to open webpage.... but if it opens the page, then works fine... too much time to open page...
i searched forum and found that fastcgi can speed up apache. its because of fcgid? fast cgi may fix it? or what else ?

do you use fastcgi or fcgid? switch it and test. i use fcigd and could solve the problem.

i use fcgid.... it was default by ispcp....
all configurations i have default....
maybe have to change something?
or add some module?
i've installed APF last version and Dos deflate... to prevent dos attacks...
maybe someone floods my server? what can i do to prevent all kind of dos and flood?

+ i notised that mysql server uses about 40% of CPU
and php5-cgi ...
