Mail not being delivered - Gymnogyp - 01-29-2010 06:47 AM So, i have a fresh clean install of ISPCP, but when I setup my email addresses, mail does not get delivered to them. I can send mail FROM my email addresses, but if I send TO them, nothing arrives in the inboxes. Everything else works, MySQL, the hosting of the site files works.... just email does not get delivered to the email addresses. If I send an email FROM my gmail account TO one of the email addys in ISPCP, nothing happens. It acts like it sends ok in Gmail, no bounce message or anything. It just never shows up in the webmail interface inbox. I am a n00b, so any help you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! RE: Mail not being delivered - joximu - 01-29-2010 08:52 AM You're member here long enough to know that we need more infos like parts of log entries and configuration... How long did you wait fro the mails to arrive? /J RE: Mail not being delivered - Gymnogyp - 01-29-2010 09:02 AM The config is just standard, how ISPCP auto-configured it. i did not custom configs. Which ones would you like to see? Anyway, it has been a little over 6 hours since I sent the test messages. No bounces or errors ever came back. I sent test messages from both gmail and hotmail as well as from another server running ISPCP (which works fine). Nothing ever arrives in the inboxes. It's like the messages just get sucked into space and never return. Anyways, let me know what configs and logs would be helpful and I will post them. I appreciate your help on this. Thanks! RE: Mail not being delivered - joximu - 01-29-2010 09:06 AM Well, either the DNS is not ok - so the mail will maybe return to gmail/hotmail after 2 or 4 days. Or it's postgrey - but then 6 hours are a little bit too long. search /var/log/mail.info about the sender adresses. /J RE: Mail not being delivered - Gymnogyp - 01-29-2010 09:26 AM I searched the /var/log/mail.info for the senders email address, but nothing was found. Here is the DNS for that domain; http://ftp.screamscape.com. CNAME screamscape.com. imap.screamscape.com. CNAME mail.screamscape.com. mail.screamscape.com. A 72.172.87.76 ns1.screamscape.com.
