HowTo Change the UTC time and daily backup time - adigit - 07-13-2007 06:20 PM

as the time zone difference in my area, I found the server backup data during busy time. how can i change it, pls?

should I edit the etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf?

edit cron job, change "23" to "18", but it still backup at the old time!

why don't you change your timezone from UTC to the country your server stand?

yes. i did save it. ^X and YES to exit. i forget if there is any other command to make it effective.

it depends on your distribution

Debian uses /usr/bin/tzselect
