At the comparisons at:
http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/doku.php?id=about:comparsion
the ispCP column has a - in the row for Postgresql. Does this mean that Postgresql can still be used but cannot be controlled using ispCP or does it mean that with ispCP running Postgresql cannot be run?

Ispcp requires mysql to run itself. Additionally, it doesn't support managing postgresql datbases/users, but you can obviously install postgresql by your distro's means, manage it yourself and use it as usual.
