Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - adivor - 03-09-2010 07:41 PM Hello to all, i see this guide http://www.howtoforge.com/lighttpd_mysql_php_debian_etch and i suppose is possible Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support.... if i use onle guide step 3-4-5, i can after install ispcp? RE: Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - kilburn - 03-09-2010 07:52 PM You can, provided that you first remove lighttpd and that you remember the mysql's root password. Anyway, it would be better if you can just reinstall the whole OS and then install ispcp over there. RE: Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - adivor - 03-09-2010 07:56 PM But...i need lighttpd :-) RE: Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - kilburn - 03-09-2010 08:06 PM Ispcp is *not* compatible with lighthttpd. RE: Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - adivor - 03-09-2010 08:12 PM ........sorry....... Why then on page: http://www.isp-control.net/documentation/doku.php?id=about:comparsion is there a lower case x in the Lighttpd row and ispCP column where the legend says: "x = Yes but not with all Options" ? I too am using Lighttp and before finding this thread expected to control it using ispCP (even if limited in options) because of what that chart shows. RE: Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - kilburn - 03-18-2010 04:54 AM Someone incorrectly checked it. I've fixed the mistake, thanks for reporting! RE: Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - dcreation - 03-19-2010 04:13 AM Mhh, it was okay, i think. You can get the lighttpd work with ispcp with fastcgi (via suexec) I think. It won´t support all features, but basic functionality is given. RE: Installing Lighttpd With PHP5 And MySQL Support On Debian - kilburn - 03-19-2010 06:23 AM The point is that ispcp does not generate lighthttp-compatible configuration files for the client domains. Therefore, we should *not* say that ispcp is compatible with lighthttpd.
