O_O Sorry but I didn't know VHCS-RELOAD... NuxWin, I just visited your site! I'm impressed by your work on tutorials for VHCS 2!
Hope your knowledge will be put into VHCS Omega too!!!

Maybe I'm a little late but... will any features coming from his tutorial be included in VHCS Omega? SSL integration? PHP4/5 user prefs? All that stuff is WONDERFUL!
And sorry again for talking like a traitor ( Wink ) but anyone have experience of VHCS RELOAD on Ubuntu 6.06? (just waiting for omega, obviously... Wink )

I found the SSL integration in the Roadmap on 2.4.9
What about the PHP4/PHP5 user prefs? The php-manager by nuxwi looks very good. Is there in the future something planned ?

I think it referes to creation of HTTPS connections for users' sites.
I meant making VHCS panel (together with webmail, webftp and pma) accessible from (say) https://panel.ispdomain.tld or https://webmail.ispdomain.tld instead of just http://yourdomain.tld/vhcs2 or http://yourdomain.tld/webmail that is much more secure (and pro-looking also...)

I'm using it and it works as a charm! There is just a bad issue if you install awstats integration hack AND php5-cgi together, because of the fact that php5-cgi executables are placed in /usr/lib/cgi-bin (on my ubuntu box at least) and in the same directory you could find awstats.pl and... its dreadful .htaccess file that prevents php5-cgi to be executed!!! Sad
If you want both of them to work you have to tweak awstats a little bit.
Actually I still stuck with a NOT WORKING configuration for awstats but for different hassles! ^_^'

RE: New user presentation
Hi ;

Install phpmanager and awstat on VHCS2-2.4.7.1 is possible.

For awstats, just create new folders --> /usr/lib/awstats and and move the awstats.pl and .htaccess file into the new folder.

After, just modify the template apache for the new paths and regenerate your config files.

Enjoys.

------------------
With regard to the integration of phpmanager in the release Omega, I awaits just the "green light" of ephigenie and rats.
