[SOLVED] Does ispCP make changes "live"?
Hi dear community,

I installed ispCP which was no problem so far.

My question: Does ispCP use a central script which is making all changes (Like the Confixx Counterscript)? Or does it make it changes live, like Plesk?

Thank you in advance.

RE: Does ispCP make changes "live"?
Some changes are really live - such as the ftp users, they are stored directly in the database where proftpd is reading them...

Many other things are done via the request manager - and all the engine perl scripts.
As long as the ispcp daemon is running the changes should be done in almost realtime:
when saving anything ispcp sends a message to the ispcp daemon and the daemon kicks the request manager which calls the needed engine programs to do the changes in the system.
