[SOLVED] Changed the mysql'sroot password, now ispCP can't reach the DB :/
Hi,

I didn't know my mysql root password, so i changed it, and of course i realized later that ispCP actually generated it and was probably using the root login to control mysql, well i was right but too late... Now my ispCP is broken:

Connection failed: SQLSTATE[28000] [1045] Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Now i restored the old root password in "/etc/ispcp/ispcp.conf " but it's a no go, ispCP can't connect, dunno what i'm doing wrong

A bit of help would be most welcome

it's funny how sometimes you find the answer right after submiting the problem in a forum :S

Found my answer here

http://www.isp-control.net/ispcp/wiki/howto_dbchangepw

Cheers
