Currently the hosting plans are setup so that either the reseller creates plans, or the admin creates plans, but these are simply plans for the end users (client domains).
I would like the ability to create a actual reseller hosting plan, that the reseller can then split up into whatever hosting plans they want, but they would be limited at a set amount of resources (Disk and Bandwidth, but maybe broken down further into number of databases, domains etc).
It seems that this is how most hosting companies out there that do reselling offer their plans, and I'd like to see ispcp offer some competition in this area.
An example is as follows:
Reseller plan that offers -50 domains -unlimited subdomains -50 mysql databases -10GB disk -100GB bandwidth/month -unlimited emails -etc...
I would like to see this with overages allowed, but listed at a different rate. For example, they if they went over the 50domains, or 100GB bandwidth, or something else... You as the admin could see this and charge them appropriately.
The plan could just list the prices for overages, for example +$x/extra domain, +$y/extra mysql db, +$z per extra MB/GB of disk space, etc...
This would also of course involve the ability for the admin to see a "roll-up" of all the stats for a reseller. Ie., How many domains their clients are using, how many db's, how much disk space they maxed out on this past month, how much bandwidth they used during the month, etc...
I would love to see this feature in the near future. I think it would pull a lot of interest from current hsphere/cpanel users.
