i know how to enable SSL websites with vhcs i have done it many times, but i think it wouldn't be to much effort to make it more userfriendly by adding a SSL option with textfields to upload the SSL certificates.

Some days ago I wrote a new howto in de docu section, about adding ssl to some services, maybe it can help in some way.

At least in my opinion, it's much better to have a single cert for all the services we want to secure. At least I wouldn't pay a certificate for every services.

of course for services a single cert is sufficient. But not if you are running multiple secured web shops each with their own domain name, ip and cert.

I just developed a bit further my idea, altought is important to have the ssl dedicated in case anyone needs it, many times people are asking for ssl enabled folders (generally for the admin zone), they don't care if the cert is shared or if there's a warning everytime they enter. I'm currently using this in producction and does the job (altought is just a rewrite of a couple of templates)  http://isp-control.net/forum/thread-7262.html

I just put the code I am using to accomplish this into the wiki. It's working flawlessly on a 1.0.3 system.
