RE: IPv6 - joximu - 06-11-2009 07:21 AM Seems there is some discussion needed how this could be done... since there are several ways... :-) RE: IPv6 - Mathijs - 06-15-2009 11:44 PM Well that way the ip's would need to be added per ip to the panel? When the system would get a /80 a lot more can be automized in my eyes. Because the ip shortness is totally gone with ipv6, it would be no problem to not use a lot of them. In fact, isp's are giving /64 and even /48 to home users, which is a bit over the top in my eyes, but that is how it's done. when you have a /64 and give a /80 to each server, you can do that to a total of 65536 servers, so that would be more than enough for most of us. Sure there are several ways this can be done, so discussing them is a good thing! I just started using ipv6 so i bet my view on it could be not perfect, so if others have other idea's, please speak up. ![]() RE: IPv6 - Mathijs - 09-16-2009 08:40 PM So i am the only one here that is making his hosting environment ipv6-ready? RE: IPv6 - rbtux - 09-17-2009 12:03 AM nope my hosting environment is already ipv6 enabled... but without ispcp... RE: IPv6 - Boter - 01-15-2010 03:29 AM IPv6 support would be great yes. Proftpd works great with it. RE: IPv6 - Shin - 01-17-2010 04:40 AM ![]() Status: WIP RE: IPv6 - FredNeuberger - 01-23-2010 11:46 PM Shin, are you coding the IPv6 support at the moment? Maybe you can give us some more information. Thanks :-) RE: IPv6 - Shin - 01-24-2010 01:05 AM sure but I think this feature will be available with the next release, with Ipv6 there's also another feature, subnet for ipv4. I will post some screen as soon as possible RE: IPv6 - FredNeuberger - 01-24-2010 02:52 AM Sounds great :-) Are you developing this officially for the next release (as you are in the dev team), or are you just hacking for fun? RE: IPv6 - Shin - 01-24-2010 02:55 AM I hope the first one ![]() |
