install directory problem - jonas1045 - 02-12-2010 06:41 AM When i install ispcp get to the step where i should change to "cd /var/www/ispcp/engine/setup" it says "No such file or directory". What have i doing wrong? I has follow the guide on debian and ubuntu. Please help, and i am new so please explain good thanks RE: install directory problem - kilburn - 02-12-2010 09:40 AM You haven't followed *all* the installation steps. Concretely, you've skipped -at least- the step 5. RE: install directory problem - jonas1045 - 02-12-2010 06:26 PM Yes i skip step 5 because its also says "No such file or directory". I never thought step 5 was so important, i think it was for own security reason. RE: install directory problem - kilburn - 02-12-2010 06:45 PM I said *at least*, and yes... every step in the installation guide is essential. Now, if you get a "file does not exist" in step 5, it means that you also missed *at least* step 4 too (or it errored and you ignored the error). Follow the guide thoroughly and show us any errors you get if it doesn't work. RE: install directory problem - jonas1045 - 02-13-2010 01:34 AM Thanks for the help. I start all over and my first error is "cp: cannot stat `/tmp/ispcp/*': No such file or directory" when i run the command "cp -R /tmp/ispcp/* /" RE: install directory problem - kilburn - 02-13-2010 02:53 AM What is the output of the previous step (make install)?
