Some question about setting IP

I am using VHCS2 in my server. As the version of vhcs2 and debain are very old and not update available, I would like to migrate my server to a fresh environment with newest debain and ispCP. In here, I have some re-installation question would like to ask about it.

I should mention that my server is behind the router and running in vitural machine. As using VHCS2, I need to modify some files for replace the external IP to internal IP in /etc/vhcs2/bind/parts/~ and reconfiguration the vhcs2 to generate the config. This is the step I need to do to config the bind server(DNS) and to make the DNS work.

The question now is in ispCP, do I need to do similar step to config the bind server to make sure every sub-sites works? Any solution?

It's in fact very similar:

/etc/ispcp/bind/parts/*.tpl

So you enter the internal IP during the setup and in the TPL you set the external IPs...

hm... several improvements... so there are many changes - but I don't know what's important for you...
the basics are "replace vhcs(2) by ispcp" - but in deails there are lots of differences...

Make a backup before change of panel...!

I only concern the DNS because the first way is people can visit my web site....I also do a side-by-side upgrade so the DNS setting is the most importance.

I would like to ask what is the command to reconfigure the ispCP like /var/www/vhcs2/engine/vhcs2-rqst-mngr in VHCS2?

while the setup,if you enter the IP first,it may come in handy...

reconfigure:

with ispcp-rqst-mngr you only reconfigure the settings which have "change" or "toadd" in the status field... - but I think it was the same in vhcs...

Why there is no ispCP howto or wiki to show this guide?
I suggest ispCP wiki should show this guide to people.
