email problems after update from 1.0.4 -> 1.0.7

i recently updated a installation and after that the email passwords werent working anymore,
i hadnt to much email accounts so it wasnt a big issue, but i have another 1.0.4 update
with shitloads of email accounts, any problems reported in this case?

We have the same problem, have been working on it for two days now.

We updated from 1.0.5 -> 1.0.7 and now no one can login to their e-mail account (error message says "Wrong password").

To me it sound like a problem with salted passwords, so I´m trying to locate the part of the code where the passwords gets encoded.

Also some accounts get status "Unknown error", well that does not sound so good =)

Any ideas?
