Change password into webmail (SQUIRREL)

Hi Team!
I have a problem:
I need my customers can change their mailbox passwords by themself, without access the ISP CP panel. I always used a plug-in into Squrrel to do that. I installed it into my ISP CP panel, BUT...it doesn't work. It is active, but I cannot change the password.

addressing my same problem, but it doesn't work and I'm wondering this thread is about 2008 and I think it should be something newer, maybe a newer plug-in or something better vs modify big scripts?

Let me know please!!! It is an important matter for me!!!

Thanks Joximu, I tried to understand what is wrong with the plug-in...but I cannot find it.
I red thread you suggested. It seems interesting, either if I didn't understand WHERE the user will find opportunity to change the passwords...I'll check and I'll test it.
