proFTPD Problem
turning for various forum, has understood the problem of the proftpd for debian, the version that is released it has a bug. With this bug it comes impossible to be connected himself is in IPV6 that without. The bug has been resolved in the last present stable version in the site of the proftpd. Only that installing it, ISPCP continues equally not to make to work ftp.
How can I do for shaping the new installed ftp with the .tars .gz with ispcp?

RE: proFTPD Problem
I did not really understood what you mean, your text is a litte bit confused.
Do you want to disable the IPv6 Support in proftpd ?
If so, put this in your proftpd.conf:
Code:
# Set off to disable IPv6 support which is annoying on IPv4 only boxes.
UseIPv6                         off

RE: proFTPD Problem
And is IPv6 disabled now or not ?
Do you use Active or Passive Mode ?
FTP is a problem for Firewalls, so you should test both.

RE: proFTPD Problem
What means ispcp does not run with proftpd?

ispcp only puts userdata in the database and proftpd gets the userdata from the database. No direct connection between them.

Maybe the new version has some other settings about the mysql connection?

logfiles??

RE: proFTPD Problem
ahhhh

if I remember right, we had theese ftp_rawlist problems some months ago...

Seems to be an error in ispcp - ftp_rawlist is used with a boolean instead of a conncetion ressource - I think an earlier ftp_connect has failed (-> false instead of ressource) and there was no test if the ressource is boolean...

So, Can you check the ftp logfile about login tries during theeses failures...
