Error 500! /reseller/rau3.php | when trying to add user

i tried to reproduce this error. I created a domain and when i call the rau3.php then the server give internal error 500, but i don't see the mail manager in the process list. While i don't kill the php5-cgi and restart the apache i always give internal error 500.

I had this error too. This caused by the wrong uid of vmail user ind the ispcp.conf and the courier userdb.

Try to upgrade your ispcp to the latest nightly build. Before the mysql status updates you must change the ispcp.conf to the new version and repair the /etc/courier/userdb and the /etc/ispcp/courier/working/userdb.

I had the same problem right after installing RC4

Please check the ownership of /var/www/fcgi/master it needs to be vu2000:vu2000 if not chown it.

However after i chown it to vu2000:vu2000 i still got the rau3.php error 500!
I tried restarting apache and almost all related services without luck. A server reboot did the job for me.

maybe he forgot to run the permission scripts

normally the permissionscripts starts automaticly during installation.

Please define "fresh install"

I did the following:
1. moved everything out of /var/www to a backup location
2. moved /etc/ispcp to backup location
3. install ispcp

Probably i had some leftovers from the previously installed ispcp but i belive that they have to be overwritten.

The thing is that after my install the /var/www/fcgi/master was owned by root:root
and i got the error 500 in rau3.php ,so i chown it manually and now is fine.

I am not following closely this topic, just trying to help by sharing my experience with the same problem.

is my userdb file. can u write a small tutorial to solve the problem?
