strange happenings...

My dns is messed up so I have to use my ip to fet to the server for now but thats another problem. right now when I dial the IP in I get this

ok so how do I parse php?

Make sure you have php installed.

Check your apache config (/etc/conf.d/apache2, /etc/sysconfig/httpd, where ever it is on your distro), and make sure you have -D PHP5 turned on.

Alternatively you could use -D FASTCGI or -D FCGID if you want to use either of those instead of mod_php...


If you need more detail, please let us know your distro and how you want to run php (mod_php, fastcgi, fcgid).

ok so I have apache2.2 and cannot start php5 how would I downgrade apache?

Starting web server (apache2)...apache2: Syntax error on line 185 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Syntax error on line 1 of /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/php5.load: API module structure `php5_module' in file /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp5.so is garbled - perhaps this is not an Apache module DSO?
