Exclamation ispCPOmega for Windows?
I know that ispCP is currently only for linux/unix distibutions, however, I would like to suggest that the project be developed for windows as well.
I do not mean IIS, I mean for apache on windows if that was possible?

RE: ispCPOmega for Windows?
Hi,

since ispCP uses many of the linux daemons (not only apache, but courier, bind, postfix, ...) this won't be so easy... I don't now how much Cygwin can help here, but I think this won't be a feature even in 1.1.

But that's my opinion, of course Wink

Greetings

RE: ispCPOmega for Windows?
why would someone run apache on windows???

I would prefer a module for ispCP (yeah the modular one that comes in some years) to manage IIS and ASP.NET and maybe Terminal Services. Thats the only thing I would use MS for...

Apache works fine on windows, I even think it is better on windows, lol

I guess I'll have to look elsewhere for a free hosting control panel for apache on windows.

So far my switch from Windows to Debian hasnt been as good as I predicted. My older Windows 2003 R2 server with IIS6 and Merak Mail was more stable and MUCH easier to configure than Linux.

However I am bound and determined to stick with Linux this time and learn it well enough to make it stable as windows was. So far I have to reboot the Debian server weekly to keep it running. I'm still to new to troubleshoot what is going on, but I will get there.

The ispCP community has been awesome to work with. As far as windows, you can try the free version of hostingcontroller.com.

If you have to reboot your debian server weekly, you have done something really wrong! I have been running mine for months without any unstability or anything!

MUCH better than when i ran windows
