RE: Pure-FTPD
you have to add the switch to pure-ftpd not to its init.d script...

RE: Pure-FTPD
I follow so i think im right, /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd -d well nothing just new console without my name (host).

But without -d

Debian-40-etch-32-minimal:~# /usr/sbin/pure-ftpd
Unable to start a standalone server: Address already in use

I can give you root access if you can please can you check it

Big thanks
Tony.

RE: Pure-FTPD
Pure-ftpd setup is just an old howto i wrote once, because proftpd was that slow (in former times)

For the average user it should be fully ok to stay on proftpd.
Specially this is only thought for people with a bit more then usual knowledge.

AND it is officially UNSUPPORTED.
