Password-changes

After getting ispcp (almost completely) running, I've still got a question:
previously I've been using vhcs 2.4.7.1 and the mail-account-passwords were stored plained. Now they are encrypted. However, thats fine, but now there's a problem with courier. All the passwords are wrong. But when I switch to the gui, change the mail-account's password to my old password, then it's working. So do I really have to change hundrets of passwords manually (still got them in plain text) or did I possibly just forget something while the migration process?
